LONDON, Oct. 12 -- CSMG, London, won multiple awardees contract award from Office of Communications to provide business and management consultancy services. No contract amount was specified (Official EU Ref. No.: 230071-2009).
According to description: "Ofcom is the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK's communications industries, with responsibilities across television, radio, telecommunications and wireless communications services.
Our current framework for Consultancy Services expires on 31.12.2008 and we are putting our requirements out to tender in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations, 2006.
Ofcom's business groups include Competition Group, Content and Standards, Spectrum Policy Group and Strategy & Market Development. These business groups and others require advice in the areas of Strategy & Market Analysis, Economics and Technology.
These areas of advice are, for the purposes of this tender, divided into three Lots each of which is divided into various categories or specialisms. Suppliers are invited to express an interest in providing advice to Ofcom for up to four years in one or more of these categories.
For each area of advice there is a category entitled "General" in which suppliers can also express an interest. This is designed for subsequent pieces of work that do not fit any particular category or that straddle one or more categories.
Suppliers that are successful in this tender shall be added to the framework for a particular category or categories and thereafter will be invited to bid for specific pieces of work via a "mini competition". Being added to the framework does not guarantee any business.
The framework agreement that results from this tender shall be effective from 1.1.2009 and expire 31.12.2013 subject to a review 2 years after commencement. Business and management consultancy services."
