Changing Channels:  Content Delivery at the Intersection of Telecom and Media

As we enter a time of significant upheaval and uncertainty across telecom and media, we also recognize these changes bring tremendous opportunity. Old business models will be tested and many will fail, while new models and revenue streams will emerge and flourish.

In order to better understand this changing landscape and the challenges and opportunities it presents, CSMG, the strategy consulting division of TMNG Global, conducted an extensive study of the complex content delivery relationships that exist today and the major factors driving change to the status quo.  The result is a comprehensive, 360-degree look at the evolving nexus of content, content delivery and next-generation networks in the United States.

The Study

The participants in our study included over 50 representatives from companies active in this emerging space. We interviewed individuals with a broad range of experience and widely differing perspectives, including many of the largest service providers, smaller cutting edge technology companies, and established and upstart content owners. The insights gained from these interviews were invaluable and highly complementary to our extensive campaign of secondary research.
