Last year the company retained the services of TMNG Global to help plan, organize and manage the conversion process with the goal of completing the project by the end of first quarter 2008. With bottom-line commitments to investors riding on success within a very tight timeframe, this is a precedent-setting project that requires precise coordination and timely execution in all aspects of the migration. Howard Watson, the company’s CTO/CIO, discusses the methodologies Virgin Media and TMNG have developed to see this ambitious project through to completion. He was interviewed by Fred Dawson, editor of ScreenPlays Magazine.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=155&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Redefining the Video Experience at AOL: Part II

Redefining the Video Experience at AOL: Part II

In recent months, AOL Video has begun to run a national television ad campaign, inviting consumers to visit Video.AOL.com to discover videos unseen elsewhere. This mainstreaming of the video-over-the-Internet message follows several years of AOL investments in content rights and video search, ad insertion and ad sales technologies. In the coming weeks, AOL Video also will launch a marketing campaign inviting consumers to its site to sample a “10-foot” living-room version of its service co-developed with Intel Corp.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=152&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Donna Nogay Interview: The New Online Marketing

In an interview with Trish Barber, Vice President, Online Community, iBelong Networks, Donna Nogay, Principal and Vice President at TMNG Global, discusses how the acceleration of Web 2.0 has raised awareness with marketers of possibilities that reach beyond traditional push-based marketing. In the B2B market, digital marketing is becoming the primary means of communicating to the business segment and cultivating online communities has become an essential factor in their marketing successes.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=146&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Interview: Kirk Odegaard

Kirk Odegaard, Vice President and General Manager of European Business Development, explains the steps MSOs can take to ensure the IP transformation process is as smooth and efficient as possible, not only at the outset but on an ongoing basis as ever more IP services and applications enter the product portfolio. He was interviewed by Fred Dawson, editor of ScreenPlays Magazine.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=141&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Interview: Rich Nespola

TMNG Global CEO Rich Nespola explains how the acquisition of UK-based Cartesian Ltd. complements TMNG’s core strength in business processes with technical expertise in converged networks. Nespola was interviewed by ScreenPlays editor Fred Dawson.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=81&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Interview: ScreenPlays Magazine Editor Fred Dawson interviews Bill Opet, Principal and Vice President of TMNG Global’s Cable Practice

Dawson: TMNG Global has taken on some very big projects of late having to do with MSOs’ digital voice service rollouts. What’s driving this activity?
Opet: Digital voice has been a huge success for the cable companies – arguably more successful than even the most optimistic proponents envisioned. So there are two major, overarching challenges associated with this success: for companies who haven’t moved into digital voice, there’s now great pressure on them to do so because they’re clearly not leveraging their network investments to the fullest potential. And among the MSOs that have digital voice in play the revenue potential is driving them to expand their voice footprints much faster than originally planned. These companies are turning to TMNG for assistance from our experienced consultant program teams to deal with the complexities and the pace of what they’re trying to accomplish.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=20&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Interview: BT Sees Path to Global IP Marketplace

Shortly after IPsphere published the first version of what it’s calling its Commercial Framework, ScreenPlays senior editor Peter Lambert spoke with Levy about the Forum and BT’s interest in its success, particularly as it pertains to attracting media and Web companies to pan-industry cooperation in converged IP services.

<trackback:ping>http://tmng.com/DesktopModules/iBN%20News%20Articles/Tracking/Trackback.aspx?ArticleID=8&PortalID=0&TabID=73</trackback:ping>
Interview: Making of an Ethernet World

Dr. Robert Metcalfe, as the inventor of Ethernet, has had a 33-year ride that most innovators can only dream about. What was once a pioneering attempt to create an efficient way to deliver data to multiple computers on a local area network now dominates the enterprise and home networking environments and is rapidly becoming the converged services transport platform of choice in the wide area network as well.
